Ruth Bennell was born on December 16th, 1919 in Yorkville, Gibson County, TN.¹ Ruth Bennell's father was Bennie Elmer ALLMON and her mother was Lenore Ann BALDRIDGE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Newton ALMON and Naomi Elizabeth SHORT. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Albert Mitchell, Chester Woodrow, Everett Vernon, Thomas Ewing, Lester Glenn, Harry Clyde, Inez Elizabeth and Mary Evelyn. She died at the age of 11 on October 3rd, 1931 in Yorkville, Gibson County, TN.²
