Joseph, known as Joe, was born on March 10th, 1900 in Lark, Marshall County, OK.  Joe's father was Robert ALMON and his mother was Maggie Mae DODD.  His paternal grandparents were James ALMON and Frances RAWLINGS. He had three brothers named Bill, Bud and Jesse.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died due to a medical problem, Cirrhosis of the Liver, at the age of 52 on February 17th, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA.  The funeral took place in Hoisington, KS.  His burial was in Hoisington, KS.
