Rhaenys' father was Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and her mother was Princess Elia Martell.  Her paternal grandparents were Aerys ("Mad King") Targaryen II and Queen Rhaella Targaryen; her maternal grandfather was Prince Maron Martell and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had a brother named Aegon.  She died due to murder / assassination, During Sack of King's Landing,.
