Aenys' father is Lord Walder Frey and his mother was Lady Perra Royce. He had two brothers and a sister, named Stevron, Emmon and Perriane. He had twenty-four half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Martyn, Ryger, Ronel, Jared, Luceon, Walder, Melwys, Hosteen, Symond, Danwell, Merrett, Geremy, Raymund, "Lame Lothar", Jammos, Whalen, Perwyn, Benfrey, Willamen, Olyvar, Wendel, Colmar, Waltyr, Elmar, Jeyne, Mellara, Lythene, Morya, "The Maid", Roslin, Arwyn and Shirei.

Aenys and Tyana were married.  They had two sons named Bloodborn and Rhaegar.
