Веса's father was проф. Георги Николов Златарски and her mother is Венка Ст. Сарафиди (Златарска).  Her maternal grandparents are Ст. Сарафиди and Винития Ст. Сарафиди. She had a brother and two sisters, named Никола, Анастасия and Венка. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Никола, Сийка, Венка and Веса.
