Willie Tom was born on August 3rd, 1907.  Willie Tom's father was James Hercules Barber and his mother is Eliza Chessor.  His paternal grandfather is W.T. "Billie" (Billie) Barber and his paternal grandmother was Louiza Ammons. He had a brother and a sister, named Leo Clyde and Mary Lou.  He died at the age of 81 on January 6th, 1989.
