Female Violean

Violean was born on September 14th, 1858 in Cash Corner, North Carolina, United States.1   Violean's father was John Richard McCotter and her mother was Sarah Ann Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were John Robert McCotter and Cloe Ann Beasley; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Jones and Johanna Lincoln. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Frank G, Samuel Francis, John Andrew, Bradford Lewis, Alfred Deleon, Victor Delone, Susan A, Martha A (Marty), Caroline (Kine), Cora Pauline, Florance Delone and Emma Jane.  She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 72 on December 23rd, 1930 in Vandemere, Pamlico, North Carolina.1
