Henry Bernard Shannon

Henry Bernard's father was Henry Francis Shannon and his mother is Rose Neidl. His paternal grandparents were Barney and Mary "Minnie" Smyth. He had a brother named Albert Joseph. He died on March 19th, 1919. He was buried in St. Peters RRC, Rome, NY.

General Notes
- Bernard drowned on March 19, 1919 in the Canal in Rome, while living with his grandparents Barney and Mnnie Shannon. His father Henry was in the Army, fighting World War I (in France). Grandma Mary told everybody never to mention a thing about Bernard in any letter that they might send to Henry until after he returned home should that come to pass. As it was Henry returned after the war was over and was informed about his son by his mother.
