Mathew Norris

Mathew was born in 1738 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Mathew's father was John Norris and his mother was Anne Wheatley. His paternal grandparents were James Norris and Elizabeth Peake; his maternal grandparents were John Wheatley and Winfred Horne. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Clement, Stephen, John Baptist, Susannah and Monica. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
