Male John Hancock Nelson

John Hancock was born on January 15th, 1814 in Craven, North Carolina, United States.1   John Hancock's father was John Sedgewick Nelson and his mother was Frances (Fanny) Carraway.  His paternal grandparents were John Nelson and Harty Nelson ?; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Carraway and Sarah Edwards. He had a brother and three sisters, named Benjamin F., Mary Carraway, Ester Eliza and Susan F. T..  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 62 on October 14th, 1876 in Beaufort, Carteret, North Carolina, United States.1
