Lela May Lee

Lela May was born in December 1899 in North Carolina.¹ Lela May's father was Robert H Lee and her mother was Rhoda Phillips. Her paternal grandmother was Sabrina Lee. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Leo Earnest, Robert Earl, Guye, Don Elbert, Guion Elvis, Lillie Bell and Nina Lee. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Milford and Gilson.
