Female Francis Joy

Francis was born about 1857 in St Marys, St Mary's, Maryland, United States.1   Francis' father was Edward Barton Joy and her mother was Elpha Isabella Raley.  Her paternal grandparents were Ignatius Joy and Dorothy Drury; her maternal grandparents were John Raley and Elefred Drury. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Edmond Barton, Samuel, Joseph W, James Walter, Ann Priscilla, Thomas Franklin, Henrietta, Elizabeth Attaway and Mary E. J..  She was the eighth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-sister named Sarah Ann.
