William Gardiner

William was born in 1589 in Bermondsey, Surrey, , England. William's father was Thomas Gardiner and his mother was Ellyn Smyth. His paternal grandparents were William Gardiner and Frances Luce. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Margaret, Frances, Catherine, Mary and Fortune. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
