Fortune Gardiner

Fortune was born on April 23rd, 1605 in Bermondsey, Surrey, , England. Fortune's father was Thomas Gardiner and her mother was Ellyn Smyth. Her paternal grandparents were William Gardiner and Frances Luce. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Richard, Thomas, Margaret, Frances, Catherine and Mary. She was the youngest of the eight children.
