James Dowling

James was born about 1911 in New York.¹ James' father was Arthur T Dowling and his mother was Catherine S. Smyth. His maternal grandparents were James I Smyth and Catherine Farnand. He had seven sisters named Anna M, Marie E, Alice, Ames, Agnes H, Evaline A and Ceclia. He is the youngest of the eight children.
