Hawkins Delamar

Hawkins was born in 1813 in New Bern, Craven, North Carolina, USA.¹ Hawkins' father was Francis Delamar and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsey) Brooks. His paternal grandparents were Capt.Thomas Delamar and Sarah Carraway; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Brooks and Martha Willis. He had a brother named John Adams. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Churchill, Thomas, Selden Jasper, Christopher D, Mary and Patsy. He died at the age of 32 on December 26th, 1845.
