Jebtha Dail

Jebtha was born in 1837 in North Carolina.¹ Jebtha's father was Elbert Ray Dail and his mother was Mary Turnage. His paternal grandparents were James Dail and Nancy Murphrey. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Elias Exum, Jacky Ann, James Scott, George, Elbert Mallard, Jacky Ann, Glendora, Mary Ellen, Nanie C., Nancy Buck, Octavia and Ada. He was the oldest of the fourteen children.
