Male Bernard Briscoe Bowles

Bernard Briscoe was born on September 30th, 1869 in Leonardtown, St Mary's, Maryland, United States.1   Bernard Briscoe's father was John Ignatius Bowles and his mother was Mary Matilda Graves.  His paternal grandparents were William Spalding Bowles and Susanna Ford; his maternal grandparents were John Wesley Graves and Barbara Ann Joy. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Charles, John Finn, Thomas Hayden, Rutherford Ignatius, Annie S, Mary O., Mary O and Annie Violet.  He was the sixth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named William C.  He died at the age of 100 on January 25th, 1970 in Leonardtown, St Mary's, Maryland, United States.2
