Nils Johnson was born in Harrod, Kristianstad, SWE, EUR. Nils Johnson's father was John Petter Frennesson and his mother was Sissa Eriksson Ericadotter. His paternal grandparents are Frenne Pehrsson and Ingiar Tufvesson; his maternal grandfather was Eric Svensson and his maternal grandmother is Pernilla Ovidsson. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Frank Johnson, Peter Pehr Johnsson, Johanna Johnsson, Ingar Johnsson and Anna Johnsson. He died on May 7th, 1936 in Duluth, MN, USA. He was buried in Duluth, MN, USA.

General Notes
- In 1880 name was spelled Lillidahl, in 1883 is reported as Liliedahl. Is further noted as Lillidale on entry to USA in 1870 to Warren County, IL. This information is noted in papers from Garnet Simcox which may or may not be correct. Mormon church records indicate 1 May 1844 as birthdate, with 5 May 1844 as christening date. Which date is correct is uncertain. His death is recorded as 7 May 1936 by records from Duluth, MN and buried by Eastern Star, which would have made him 92 years old. This information provided by record sheet from Garnet Simcox. He was a Lutheran teacher and minister. He had 7 children named Johanna Christiana, Frederick Julius, Edward Theodore, Grace Augusta, Selma Clara, and Oscar W. Two infant sons (Arthur & Nels) died shortly after birth. His son Edward T. had 4 children, one of which is Merwin Barnett, another Garnet. We have corresponded with Merwin, and Garnet is the one who wrote the book on John Frennesson.
