John Petter Frennesson

  • No reason for name difference here between frennesson and liliedahl of next generation.  But Perry Liliedahl is certain of this part of ancestry.  Record number AFN: 25R2-HM from Mormon library recorded last name as "Frennesson" with a first name of "Jhon".  Last name of "Frennison" may also be possible spelling but no proof yet.  He was a well known schoolmaster who taught in homes and then in school buildings across from the church where he was church clerk and choirmaster.  He went blind at the age of 50 and retired. He was very poor in later life.  Data from John Frennesson's book has his death as June 3, 1869 instead of June 4, 1868.  Not sure of which date is accurate. Further, this same book records his and Sissa's marriage date as 26 October, 1827 instead of 28 October, 1827.  Exact date uncertain. Records show her date of death as June instead of July. More confusion here.
