China Gamblin

China was born in 1819 in s. Carolina. China's father was John F. Gamblin and her mother was Polly (Mary) Ray. Her paternal grandparents were William B. Gamblin and Susanah (Sara) Cole Wells; her maternal grandparents were Ambrose Ray and Elizabeth Holocombe. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Martin, Miles, William, Giles, Jeremiah B., Frank, Martha, Mariah, Delia, Vina, Dicey and Clara. She died at the age of 81 in 1900 in Texas.
