John Robinson Hopkin

John Robinson was born on July 3rd, 1836 in Newthorpe,Greasley Parish,Nottinghamshire,England and his baptism took place on July 3rd, 1836 in ,Greasley Parish,Nottinghampshire,England. John Robinson's father was James Hopkin and his mother was Elizabeth Robinson. His paternal grandparents were Edward Hopkin and Catherine Lilley. He was an only child. He died at the age of 92 on October 9th, 1928 in Lovell,Big Horn,Wyoming. He was buried on October 12th, 1928 in Burlington,Big Horn,Wyoming.

General Notes
- John was born before James and Elizabeth were married and the church
  records do not list a father. However in James' will he states that John
  is his son "I give to my son John Hopkin (otherwise John Hopkin Robinson)
  now residing at Francisville ,Colorado in the United States of America."
  The way that the will is written is the English way of recognizing an
  illegitimate child.
