Edward was born in 1554.1   Edward's father was Giles Bishop and his mother was Ann Birt.  His paternal grandparents are THOMAS BISHOP and Deborah Beard. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Giles, John, Stephen and Anne.  He died at the age of 68 in November 1622 in Sutton Valence, Kent.1
