Thomas was born in 1798 in Hugglescote, Leicestershire.  Thomas' father was Thomas Harrison and his mother was Ann. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Edward, William, John, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary.  He died at the age of 79 in 1877 in North Kilwoth, leicestershire.
