Edward was born in 1798 in Hugglescote, Leicestershire.  Edward's father was Thomas Harrison and his mother was Ann. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, William, John, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary.  He died at the age of 80 on April 20th, 1878 in Bitteswell, Leicestershire.
