Maurice Peter van Blerk 
Maurice Peter was born in 1943. Maurice Peter's father was Vivian Peter van Blerk and his mother was Maria Theresa Clara Poyurs (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Peter John van Blerk and Regina Eliza Barry (van Blerk); his maternal grandparents were Maurice Poyurs and Maria Petronella Elizabeth Botha (Poyurs). He had a brother and two sisters, named Malcolm Garth, Valerie Yvonne and Ronelle Anita. He was the second youngest of the four children.
