Maria Catharina van Blerk 
Maria Catharina was born on May 30th, 1818 in Graaff Reinet. Maria Catharina's father was Petrus Jacobus van Blerk and her mother is Maria Susanna Joubert. Her paternal grandparents were Jan Barend van Blerk and Maria Catharina van den Berg (van Blerk). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Jan Barend, Francois Petrus, Susanna Cathrina and Susanna Catharina Barendina. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Petrus Jacobus, Barend Johannes Vorster, Hendrik Stephanus, Jan Vorster, Anna Francina Johanna, Johanna Christina, Gertruida Christina, Hester Magdalena and Cecilia Magdelena. She died at 4 months old on October 19th, 1818.General Notes
