Frederick Johannes van Blerk 
Frederick Johannes was born on June 7th, 1863. Frederick Johannes' father was Andries Christoffel van Blerk and his mother was Maria Elisabeth Magdalena Soekoe. His paternal grandparents were Fredrik Andries Georg van Blerk and Henrina Magdalena Mynhardt (van Blerk); his maternal grandparents were Johannes Paulas Soekoe and Maria Elizabeth Magdalena Smit (Soekoe). He had a brother and five sisters, named Frederick Andries George, Hendrina Magdalena, Anna Catharina Philippina, Andrietta Stoffelina, Maria Elizabeth Magdalena and Frederika Johanna. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 in 1949.General Notes
