Erica Elizabeth was born in 1935 in Queenstown.  Erica Elizabeth's father was Eric Lionel x van Blerk and her mother was Cornelia Johanna (van Blerk). She had a sister named Francis Everald.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named Albury Auret.  She died at the age of 31 on December 24th, 1966 in Germiston.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Brian John, Robert Lional and Carol Anne.
