Arthur was born on August 26th, 1863 in Frindsbury Street, Frindsbury, Kent, England.1   Arthur's father was James WOODROW and his mother was Eliza LOCK.  His paternal grandparents were Solomon PRENTICE and Susan WOODROW; his maternal grandparents were Samuel LOCK and Rhoda JESSUP. He had a sister named Sarah A.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 77 in December 1940 in Frindsbury, Kent, England.  He was buried on December 18th, 1940 in All Saints, Frindsbury.
