Martha was born in 1849 in Eynsham, Oxfordshire.  Martha's father was William WHITE and her mother was Jane STAIT.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph WHITE and Alice GARDNER. She had a brother named Joseph.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 26 in March 1875 in Witney District.
