Sarah Elizabeth was born in 1849 in Shoreditch, Middlesex.  Sarah Elizabeth's father was James Durdant PEAD and her mother was Elizabeth LOCKYER.  Her maternal grandparents were Richard LOCKYER and Elizabeth Catherine MILLER. She had two brothers named James Durdant and William.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 76 in 1925 in Hackney District.
