Ann was born on March 6th, 1848 in St Luke, Middlesex. Ann's father was William George LOCKYER and her mother was Emma.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard LOCKYER and Elizabeth Catherine MILLER. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry, James, Frederick, Edmund, Alfred, Emma and Eliza.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 74 in 1922 in Holborn District.
