Anne was born in 1666 in East Sutton, Kent.  Anne's father was Alexander BONNY and her mother was Martha BUTCHER.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas BONNY and Elizabeth EARLE; her maternal grandparents were Abraham BUTCHER and Mary WILSON. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, Matthew, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the six children.
