George Strutt

George was born in 1904 in St Leonards-on-sea, East Sussex. George's father was George Walter Strutt and his mother was Sophia Croucher. His paternal grandparents were William Strutt and Emma Jane Lenham; his maternal grandparents were George Croucher and Ann Hinds. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Frederick, Jack and Hattie (Cissie). He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 in 1976 in Brentwood, Essex.
