Mathias Cowan Ekin

Mathias was born in 1806. Mathias' father was William Ekin and her mother was Martha Elizabeth Cowan. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Ekin and Margaret Jamison; her maternal grandparents were Mathias Cowan and Rachel Ellen Gray. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Rachel, John, Elizabeth, Mary and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 76 in 1882.
