Oscar Levin (Asher ben Yacov Halevi)

Oscar was born on August 18th, 1906 in Keidan, Lithuania.  Oscar's father was Jankel Girsh Levin and his mother was Sora Vrule Galper.  His paternal grandparents were David Levin and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Itsko Eliashov Galper and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Abram, Simon, Alice and Shifra.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 82 on September 19th, 1988 in Durban, South Africa.  The funeral took place on September 21st, 1988 in Boksburg Cemetary.
