Joseph was born in 1923.  Joseph's father is <Unknown> and his mother was Helen Marie Turpel.  His maternal grandparents were Lawrence Burton Turpel and Annie Louise O'Connor. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Ralph, Sonny, June, Eleanor, Shirley, Peggy and Sue.  He was adopted by Lawrence Burton Turpel & Annie Louise O'Connor.  He died at the age of 69 in 1992.
