James Monroe Parsons

James was born on August 19th, 1816. James' father was Col Amos Seavey Parsons and his mother was Patty Dow. His paternal grandparents are Dr Joseph Parsons and Mary Seavey; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Dow and Elizabeth Seavey. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, Samuel, Joseph, Polly, Eliza, Martha, Anna, Almira and Lovina. He was the youngest of the ten children.
