Nathan Dow

Nathan was born on February 14th, 1773 in Rye, Rockingham County, New Hampshire and his baptism took place on March 4th, 1773. Nathan's father was Noah Dow and his mother is Elizabeth Palmer. His paternal grandfather was Simon Dow and his paternal grandmother is Mary Lancaster. He had three brothers named Simon, Daniel and Jonathan. He was the third oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 47 on June 18th, 1820 in Prospect, Waldo County, Maine.

General Notes
- Nathan, along with his twin, Jonathan, moved to Prospect, Maine before 1794. The two brothers had a strong resemblance in looks and thoughts. Nathan was clearly recalled by his son, who wrote a genealogical letter in 1881. Nathan was a resident of Pownalsborough, New Hampshire in 1793.
