Hosea Dow

Hosea was born on February 16th, 1833 in New Hampton, Belknap County, New Hampshire. Hosea's father was Levi Dow and his mother was Hannah Goss Drake. His paternal grandparents were Levi Dow and Abigail Godfrey; his maternal grandparents are Deacon Nathaniel Drake and Deborah. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Sumner, Olwyn, Nathaniel, Mary, Tirzah and Leonora. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 1 on August 25th, 1834.
