George Edwin Dow

George was born in 1850 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. George's father was Charles Dow and his mother is Eliza A. Peacock. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Dow and Mary Prescott. He had two brothers and a sister, named Herbert, Henry and Ellen. He died after 1915.

General Notes
- George went to California in 1868. He was brought up in the boat building business, but later organized a large pump manufacturing business in San Francisco, California. His business, in 1923, was overseen by his son, George.
