Martha Gammon

Martha was born in 1839 in Tennessee, United States. Martha's father was George Washington Gammon and her mother was Martha Rice Robinson. Her paternal grandparents were Dozier Brawner Gammon and Lavina Letitia Turbeville. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Julien, Tillman, William, Harris, Wayne, Samuel, Mary Lavina, Minerva Jane, Armantha Isabelle and Anna Leah. She is the oldest of the eleven children.
