Dorothea Crandall

Dorothea was born in July 1771. Dorothea's father was Rev. Amos Crandall and her mother was Elizabeth Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Amos Crandall and Hannah Bailey; her maternal grandparents were Zebulon Brown and Anne Main. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Amos, John Amos, Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy Ann. She is the second oldest of the six children.
