Richard Wilton

Richard was born in 1834 in North Petherwin, Cornwall, , England. Richard's father was Richard Wilton and his mother is Mary Greenland. His paternal grandparents were John Wilton and Elizabeth Roberts; his maternal grandfather is Greenland. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Walter Greenland, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Emma. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 in 1893 in Eagle, Richland, Wisconsin, USA.¹
