Edith Alice was born on July 17th, 1893.  Edith Alice's father was Isaac Porter and her mother is Sarah King.  Her paternal grandfather was George Porter and her paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Sarson. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named George, Frank, Isaac, William, Joseph, John, Charles, Mary Maria, Annie Maria and Elizabeth Jane.  She died at the age of 3 on August 8th, 1896.
