Patrick Francis Casey

Patrick Francis was born about 1891 in Normanton. Patrick Francis' father was John Kilbride Casey and his mother was Esther May Brennan. His paternal grandparents are Michael Casey and Mary Kilbride; his maternal grandparents are Michael Brennan and Katherine Murphy. He had a brother and a sister, named Jack and Essie. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jack, James, Norman, Jeffery, Marrion and Edna Margaret. He died on October 4th, 1917 in Belgium. General Notes
- I don't know much about my granmothers brother. I have a picture of him in army uniform.He enlisted in the 1914 - 1918 WW1. His army no was 6305 He was in the 25th BN. A.I.F.. He was killed in Belgium during an advance on the 4th October 1917.I have since found information about Patrick on the net from WW1 records.
  I have a letter he wrote to grandma ( Esther ) He had the Mumps at the time The letter wanted to know why his father had not replied to his letters.
  He went to school in Croydon ,started on the May 1899 he was 6 years and 11 months old They were living at Brown St at the time
  His occupation was listed as a Miner in the Croydon History society.
