John Jay

John was born on October 10th, 1641 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. John's father was Thomas Jay and his mother was Joan Gallop. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jay and Frances Paulett. He had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, Ephraim, Ruth and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 35 on July 8th, 1677 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.
