William Riley Gaumer

William Riley was born on September 13th, 1857 in Knox Township OH USA. William Riley's father was John Adam Gaumer and his mother was Elizabeth Fuller. His paternal grandparents were John Gaumer and Mary Magdalene Shirer. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin Franklin, Valentine, Mary Magdalene, Nancy Jane, Sarah Elizabeth, Harriette Edna and Jessie Hannah. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John Earl, Ernest Fletcher, Chester Whipple, Claire Lester, James Ozro, Clara Lois, Lora Belle and Lela Viola. He died at the age of 29 on April 20th, 1887 in New Virginia IA USA.
