Guy Le was born about 1146 in , Knockin, Shropshire, England.  Guy Le's father was Roland Le STRANGE and his mother is Matilda Le BRUN.  His paternal grandfather was Guy Le STRANGE; his maternal grandfather was Ralph FitzHerlewin HUNSTANTON (BRUN) and his maternal grandmother is Helewisa De PLAIZ. He had three brothers named John Le, Hamo (Hamon) Le and Ralph Le.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died about December 1179.
